Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him. (Psalm 32:10) [#TrustInTheLord]

Psalm 32:5-11
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked;
But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous;
And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Many are the woes of the wicked.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked.

But if we trust in the Lord, the Lord’s unfailing love will surround us.
But if we trust in the Lord and rely on the Lord, compassion and lovingkindnes will surround us.

He (Jesus) is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25) [#JesusSaves]

Hebrews 7:20-28
20 And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath 21 (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him:

“The Lord has sworn
And will not relent,
‘You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek’ ”),

22 by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.

23 Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; 27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. 28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

Jesus is able to save completely and forever those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.

Jesus is able also to save forever – completely, perfectly, for eternity those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede and intervene on their behalf with God.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (1 Timothy 1:7) [#SpiritOfPower #SpiritOfLove #SpiritOfSoundMind]

2 Timothy 1:3-7
3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, 5 when I call to remembrance the [b]genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

God has not made us timid.
God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear.

But…
God has given us us power.
God has given us a spirit of power.

God has given us love.
God has given us a spirit of love.

God has given us self-discipline.
God has given us a spirit of sound judgment and personal discipline, abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control.
